A good nonstick pan that lasts is hard to find. I’ve gone through a lot of frying pans that claim to be nonstick over the years, but after a few months, the slick coating starts to wear down or get scratched and food starts sticking. In fact, some pans have even made post-meal cleanup even more laborious since the coatings require extra care when hand-washing. About two years ago, however, one frying pan arrived at my doorstep and immediately stood out from the pack.

Enter: Made In’s Non Stick Frying Pan. I was immediately impressed by the cobalt blue shade as I opened the box, and when I pick up the pan, I was pleasantly surprised by how comfortable and lightweight it felt in my hands. Made in Italy and crafted with a sturdy, riveted handle, this pan made me want to cook up all the eggs stat. Who wants breakfast for dinner?

The pan is made with a PFOA-free coating, so there aren’t any toxic forever chemicals hanging out in my kitchen or food. Coated multiple times to be extra durable and resistant to degradation, this pan has become my go-to for making any and all kinds of egg dishes, sautéing mushrooms and peppers, or crisping up delicate fish. Weekend clear-out-the-fridge omelettes and frittatas? The eggs slide right out. Seared salmon filets? No skin stuck to the bottom of the pan. The pan is so slippery and slick that I don’t even need to add cooking oil for most things I cook unless I want to add a bit of flavor or fat. I’m not alone in my love for this pan, either — our former food editor Megan Splawn used it daily for a year to make eggs, pancakes, and more and the non-stick coating was still going strong.

I’m a big fan of Made In and this Non Stick Frying Pan is, in my opinion, one of the best representations of the brand’s top-quality cookware. If you’re sick of tearing through nonstick pans that don’t actually work, this pan will be a wise investment for any home cook.
