My Costco shopping strategy has a single focus, and that is to stock up on staples. I rely on the warehouse for big bottles of ketchup, saddle packs of organic chicken thighs, and quick dinner shortcuts, like potstickers. My weekly grocery runs are quicker and less expensive because I do the bulk of my shopping at Costco. And one staple I always make sure to keep on hand is the Garofalo Organic Pasta Variety Pack.

What’s So Great About Garofalo Organic Pasta?

You may think that all pasta tastes the same, but we’ve discovered that even the most basic of pantry staples like spaghetti, canned tomatoes, and frozen broccoli really do vary brand to brand. This multi-pack contains six (17.6-ounce) packages, slightly more than you would get in a box at your neighborhood grocer. The bulk package contains two bags each of Casarecce, Penne Ziti Rigate, and Gemelli. Garofalo’s pasta is made in Italy from 100% durum wheat semolina flour, and when cooked al dente it has the texture and chew I’m looking for. The cost breaks down to about $1.78 per pack, which is a pretty great deal for a high-quality imported organic pasta like this.
