White Castle is Releasing a New Line of Cheeseburger Bites

Self-proclaimed as America’s first fast-food hamburger chain, White Castle has been taking innovation to the next level since 1921. After launching their retail division in 1987 (which they also claim to be the first at), White Castle has not only dominated the fast-food realm, but also taken strides to be a staple in your local grocery store’s freezer section. So what could they possibly do next? Well, Castle Bites have just entered the chat.

If you ever wanted a hamburger in the form of a Totinos Pizza Roll, White Castle just made it a reality. Castle Bites, which are currently available at stores nationwide, are bite-sized, frozen snacks that are available in two flavors: hamburger and cheeseburger. Both are available in two package sizes: 18-ounce or, my personal favorite, the 40-ounce “party pack.” Made with 100% real beef and onions and wrapped in a crispy golden crust, White Castle might not directly use the “pizza roll” likeness for Castle Bites, but it’s what most people will recognize them as.

Developed in collaboration with “one of the nation’s largest, most trusted frozen food companies,” Bellisio Foods, White Castle aims to make snacking at home as convenient and delicious as possible. Bellisio’s CEO, Steve Young, stated, “Bellisio is proud to utilize our more than 30 years of experience in frozen foods and in snack rolls to launch such an innovative product. We’re excited to build upon our partnership with White Castle, especially following the successful launch of the White Castle Chicken Rings at retail.”

I don’t know about you, but I cannot wait to try them for myself. No matter what the craving, White Castle has seemingly got us covered by offering Sliders, Chicken Rings, and now Castle Bites at grocery stores everywhere. And only one of those three can be found at an actual White Castle restaurant. Love me some exclusivity.

Now that we have fast food on our minds, be on the lookout for Kevin Hart’s new fast-food venture, which he promises will deliver loads of “can’t believe it” flavor. But don’t stop there: This low carb twist on the McDonald’s Big Mac just might be the most fast food a salad can get.
